William Coe Tuder, 92, of Delmar, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 8, 2024. He lived in Ellicott City prior moving into assisted living in Delmar. He was born March 15, 1931 in Catonsville, a son of the late William Joseph Tuder and Anne Tuder (nee Coe). Bill proudly served his country in the USAF from 1950 to 1954, where he learned his trade as a diesel mechanic. After his honorable discharge he went to work for the McClung-Logan Equipment Co. From there he worked for some time for the Macke Co, which later changed to Service America. He was the kind of guy who could fix anything and loved helping others with their cars or just simply tinkering on different projects. In his later years he drove a bus in Howard County and served as an attendant. Bill was an active, long-time member and past board member of the Anne Arundel County Alarmers Association. He enjoyed helping serve and support first responders and made many lifelong friendships with other members. Bill also loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing and boating. He is survived by a daughter, Barbara Tuder; son, W. Matt Tuder and wife, Alice; grandson, William Joshua Tuder; and a sister, Dorothy Michael. He is also survived by several in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary June Tuder. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cockeysville.
