William Edwin Massey, Jr., 64, of Salisbury, passed away at his home on Sunday, December 20, 2020. He was born in Salisbury on March 24, 1956, a son of the late William Edwin Massey, Sr. and Carrie Lucille (Oland) Massey. Bill graduated from James M. Bennett High School. He enjoyed a long career of 37 years as a technician with K&L Microwave. He was a long time, active member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church and considered the ORBC folks his extended family. Bill was a movie buff and had a huge collection of Star Trek, Godzilla and Dr. Who movies. He looked forward to his trips to the Renaissance Festival in Crownsville and will be remembered for his love of his cats and feeding the birds. He is survived by a sister, Deborah Nadine Arena of Mardela Springs; and nephews, Aron Trice, Tony Arena and Kyle Arena. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a nephew, Donald Steven Trice, Jr. A graveside service at Riverton Cemetery will be held ON Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Oak Ridge Baptist Church, 361 Tilghman Rd, Salisbury, MD 21804 or to Riverton Cemetery, c/o Roy Beauchamp, 11260 Sharptown Road, Mardela Springs, MD 21837.
