William Vaughn Hall, 69, of Delmar, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012 at PRMC in Salisbury surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 23, 1943 in Salisbury, a son of the late Oliver and Elizabeth Hall. Vaughn was a 1961 graduate of Laurel High School. He spent his life working as a truck driver for Shoreland Foods and was an accomplished painter. He and his wife attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Salisbury. He was an avid Cowboys and Yankees fan. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Patricia A. Hall; two sons, Jimmy Richardson (Rose) and Ricky Richardson (Lisa); three daughters, Patsy Pitmon (Deane), Vickie Bryan (Dallas), and Teresa Vestal; grandchildren, Brian Richardson (April), Eric Pitmon(Fawn), Karen Richardson, Derrick Richardson, Tara Timmons, Dominique Hall, Billy Timmons, Christopher Richardson, Ricky Richardson, Jr. Taylor Bryan, Alicia Bryan, Ciera Vestal, Tara Vestal and Zack Timmons; great grandchildren, Jake, Bella, Brody, Addison, Destinay, Ja'Diah, Tyler, Kyleigh, Khloe, and Audriana; a brother, Vance Hall; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Allen Richardson and William Hall, Jr. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the Short Funeral Home in Delmar. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service. Pastor Gary Smith will officiate. Interment will follow the service in Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron.
