Delmar- William Lee "Billy" Pusey Jr., a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on September 10, 1954, in Salisbury, MD he was the son of the late Patricia Ann (Taylor) Pusey and William Lee "Cab" Pusey, Sr. Billy proudly served in the Marines from 1971 to 1975, reaching the rank of Private First Class. After his military service, he carved out a diverse career. From working in the poultry industry and roofing to managing the Dash-In in Ocean City and driving a truck for Columbia Vending and ultimately retiring as a life insurance agent from Monumental Insurance in 2013, Billy touched many lives along the way. Billy had a passion for the outdoors, enjoying hunting, fishing, and crabbing. He also had a green thumb and loved tending to his vegetable garden, where he grew an array of vegetables. Traveling was a joy for him, especially on cruises with his beloved wife, Beverly. He cherished the time they spent together, making memories that will last a lifetime. He was also a dedicated member of the Rock Christian Fellowship Church and spent many joyful hours reading his Bible. Billy had a special fondness for his black Corvette and his Harley motorcycle, which were important parts of his personality and lifestyle. He truly embraced life to the fullest. Billy shared a beautiful life with his loving wife, Beverly Anne Pusey, and cherished every moment spent with her and their daughters, Angelique Nicole Forest and Karen Marie Luffman (Richard). He was a grandfather to Andrew, Anthony, Austin, Alex, Jeremy, Cameron, and Ava. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren, his sister Gloria Ann Brown: sisters-in-law, Yvonne Hardy and Donna Fischer (Pete), brothers-in-law Preston Dryden (Iris) and Frank Dryden, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins, including Bruce "Bruiser" Pusey and Janet Cothran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by cousins, Anna Marie Pusey and Lee Pusey, brothers-in-law, Roger Brown, Tom Hardy, Gary Dryden, and George Hardy; and mother-in-law, Florence Dryden. A visitation will be held at Calvary Baptist Tabernacle, 337 Tilghman Road in Salisbury on Monday, May 5, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, followed by a memorial service with military honors at 3:00 pm.
