Hebron- Wesley D. Riley, Sr., 55, of Hebron, died Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at his home in Hebron. He was born November 26, 1961 in Seaford, a son of Jean Wilson Pollek and the late Nelson William Riley. Wes took pride in his work as an auto mechanic for many years. He also worked several years at Brownie's Liquors in Delmar. He will be remembered as a wonderful father and a kindhearted man whose life revolved around his family and his work. Three years ago Wes started attending Impact Church of Fruitland and immediately became an important part of the church family. The love he had for the church and the love he received back was immeasurable. He enjoyed cutting the grass and maintaining the church grounds and considered it his ministry to give back to the church. He is survived by a daughter, Taylor Alexine Riley of Delmar; his companion and caregiver, Lisa Edwards of Hebron; a sister, Wendy Jo Fritch and husband, Alan of Salisbury; nephews, Edward Gillenardo of Easton and Michael Riley of Hebron; a great niece, Michelle Riley of Hebron; and his former wife and mother to their daughter, Lisa Mae Riley. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Wesley D. Riley, Jr.; a daughter, Christine Riley; and a sister, Judith Lynn King. At his request, no formal services will be planned.
