Wanda Humphreys Hopkins, age 92, of Salisbury passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023 at Wicomico Nursing Home. She was born on March 28, 1931 in Hebron, Maryland, a daughter of the late Grace Ellen Humphreys and Beeson A. Humphreys. Wanda retired from First Shore Federal after many years as a supervisor of accounting. She was an avid antique collector and loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her son, Kirk Douglas "Chip" Pollitt (Amy Parker) of Jefferson, Massachusetts; step-son, Jerry Dean Hopkins, Jr. (Laura) of Tyaskin; daughter-in-law, Kathy Pollitt of Salisbury; grandchildren, Stephanie Simpson (Chris), Wesley Pollitt (Amanda), Christopher Hopkins (Tammy Kenny), and Nicholas Hopkins; four great grandchildren; and a sister Mabel Long of Easton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Dean Hopkins, Sr.; a son, Gary Robert Pollitt; and a brother, Maurice Humphreys. A graveside service will be held at 10am on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury. Pastor Joel Beiler will officiate.
