Virginia B. Gorsuch, 87, of Ocean Pines, died on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at the Berlin Nursing Home. She was born on June 22, 1923, the daughter of the late Willard and Frances Banks. She is survived by a daughter, Deborah Gorsuch of Ocean Pines; a "sister", Jean Banks of Delmar; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Gorsuch; and two brothers, James Banks and Jr. Banks. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 3, 2011 at the Short Funeral Home, 13 East Grove Street in Delmar. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the services in Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron. The Reverend Howard Travers will officiate.
