Virginia L. Desautels, 86, of Mardela Springs, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Wicomico Nursing Home in Salisbury. She was born May 6, 1927 in Mardela Springs, a daughter of the late Ernest and Victoria Cooper. Virginia was a member of Snethen United Methodist Church in Mardela Springs and a life member of the Delmar V.F.W. Post 8276 Ladies Auxillary. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Rodolphe Desautels; a daughter, Patricia T. Notvest of Mardela Springs; a granddaughter, Linda Keene; two great grandchildren, Dylan Notvest and Sierra Keene; a sister, Margie Foskey of Delmar; and three brothers, Jackie Cooper of Willards, Paul Cooper of Hebron and Marion Cooper of Delaware.
