Victor Vicente Garcia Gonzalez, 61, of Delmar passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury. He was born in Cuba on October 30, 1961, a son of Maria del Carmen Gonzalez Caraballo and the late Victor Garcia Martin. Victor worked as a welder for years for Evans Builders in Salisbury. He is survived by his wife, Flor Maria Dekker; children, Sonia Diakos and husband Vasilios Diakos, Lency Garcia and husband Joshua Inglesias, and Matthew Garcia; grandchildren, Niko Diakos, Victor Diakos, Loukas Diakos, and Castiel Inglesias; sister, Diana Garcia; and sisters-in-law, Monica Chavez and husband Fernando Mendez and Cecilia Chavez and husband Jorge Diaz. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 3 C USA Church, 38238 Old Stage Road, Delmar, DE 19940. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
