SALISBURY- Troy T. Holmes, 42, died Monday, July 11, 2016. He was born July 25, 1973 in Salisbury, a son of Kathleen Davis Littleton of Salisbury and the late Washington Davis Holmes Troy worked several years at Jolly Rogers Amusement Park in Ocean City. He liked working there as a mechanic, ride operator and general maintenance guy who could fix anything. In addition to being a good mechanic he was also a talented carpenter and had recently opened his own construction company. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, loved horses and dogs and working out at the gym. He will be remembered as a loving father, son, brother and friend to many. In addition to his mother, he is survived by children, Phoebe Holmes, Piper Holmes, Penny McNatt, Paige Brousard and Dylan Holmes; sisters, Jasmine Faw (Steven), Byrdie Holmes-Johnson and Angel Holmes; brothers, Quinton Holmes and Shane Holmes; and his fiance', Catherine Schultz. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Holmes. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Short Funeral Home in Delmar, where a visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00. Pastor Jared Rittenhouse will officiate.
