Tracy Michelle Parks, 40, of Delmar, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2012 at her home in Delmar. She was born on February 25, 1972 in Baltimore, Maryland to Delores "Dori" Parks and Wayne Parks of Delmar. Tracy graduated from Delmar High School with the class of 1990, and worked as an Inventory Control Manager for Boscov's in Salisbury for 21 years. She attended Faith Community Church in Salisbury. She was a Girl Scout leader in Delmar for many years, and enjoyed crossword puzzles. Tracy was always very supportive of her children, they were her life. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, Joseph Parsons and Ashlee Parsons; fiancé, Donald H. Vanderslice of Seaford; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and her beloved Boscov's family. She is also survived by the father of her children, Ronald Parsons. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the Short Funeral Home in Delmar. Family and friends may call two hours prior to the service. At Tracy's request, casual attire is appropriate. Interment will follow in St. Stephens Cemetery in Delmar.
