Terry Louise Moore, 62, of Delmar, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at TidalHealth Nanticoke in Seaford. She was born August 29, 1959, in Salisbury, a daughter of the late Robert C. Moore and Mary Louise (Elliott) Moore. Terry graduated from Delmar High School with the class of '79, where she was an active member of the FFA and earned her certificate in horticulture. In her younger days, she enjoyed working with flowers and worked several years as an arranger at Benedict's Florist in Salisbury. In 2003 she retired after 15 years of service from Food Lion in Salisbury, where she worked as a produce clerk. Terry was an avid reader, loved cross-stitching and enjoyed road trips to Lancaster. She was a member of the Sussex County Coon Hunters Association where she loved cooking for the guys. She will be remembered and missed for her big heart for all and her love for family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Mowbray (Kevin); sister, Sandy Beach; nieces and nephews, David Beach II (Day-Day), Jessica Elliott (Dustin), Maribeth Singleton (Adam ),Kristin Moore, Robert C Moore III (Robbie)(Samantha), Shelby Moore and multiple great nephews; special friends, Betty Nichols, Jimmy Steve & Beverly Nichols, Joy Hill and Lee & Hanna Collins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert C. Moore, II; and a brother-in-law, David Beach. A celebration of Terry's life will be held at a later date.
