Terry Louise Elliott, 77, of Delmar passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Lofland Park Center in Seaford. She was born on October 1, 1945 in Salisbury, Maryland, a daughter of the late Louise Mumford Elliott and John Monroe Elliott. Terry graduated from Mardela High School with the class of 1963. She was a member of Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church in Sharptown, where she enjoyed singing in her early years. Terry worked many years in the deli department of Super Fresh. She is survived by her siblings, John David Elliott and his wife Carolyn, Sharon Elliott Jones and her husband Marvin, and Candice Elliott Sammons and her husband Ray; and 11 nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Josephine Williams. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Monday May 22, 2023 at Mt. Vernon U.M. Church, 300 Church Street in Sharptown. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday from 10:30 to 11am. The interment will be private.
