Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Teresa C. Parsons on Monday, October 28, 2024, at the age of 71. Teresa was born on February 26, 1953, in Salisbury, MD, to her loving parents, Edward B. and Emma Pauline (Williams) Culver. Teresa was a dedicated file clerk at Hebron Savings Bank, where she devoted her time and energy. She was a valued employee and a respected member of the banking industry. In her younger years, Teresa managed the Dash-In in Mardela Springs for two decades, showcasing her strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. Outside of work, Teresa was an active member of Nelson Church in Hebron, where she found solace and community. She had a passion for camping and fishing in Chincoteague, finding joy in nature and the great outdoors. Teresa was a supportive and loving mother to her children, Jamie, Sharon, and Leslie, and a cherished grandmother to her many grandchildren and great grandchildren, each holding a special place in her heart. Teresa's zest for life extended to her love of attending sporting events to cheer on her grandchildren and enjoying lively games of UNO and dominoes. She found joy in dining out with friends, sharing laughter and creating cherished memories. She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Ronald "Ronnie" L. Parsons, Sr; son, Jamie Goslee (Laura); daughters, Sharon Bebee (Danny) and Leslie McGinnity (George); step-son, Ronald Parsons, Jr. (Erin); grandchildren, Jordan Bebee, Dustyn Bebee, William Goslee, Alayna Goslee, Michael Parsons, Sean Parsons, William Parsons, Ashley Parsons, Joseph Parsons, Trystin Insley and Geordan McGinnity; sisters, Jacqueline Jones (Fran) and Dorene Davis (Keith); a brother, Paul Culver (Lisa); and several nieces, nephews and a host of close friends. A celebration of Teresa's life will be held at Nelson Church in Hebron on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., where a visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00. Pastor Charles Fiore will officiate. Following the service all are welcome to join the family in the fellowship hall at Nelson Church for a time of food and fellowship.
