It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Teresa A. Jones of Salisbury, who left us peacefully on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on August 6, 1960, in Salisbury, MD, Teresa was a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Teresa was the heart of her family, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a warm hug. She was known for her caring nature and would go out of her way to do anything for those she loved. She was a dedicated mom to her daughters, Starr Gray and Dana Davis, and cherished every moment she spent with her grandsons, Noah Gray, Ryder Truitt, and Kaleb White. Family meant the world to Teresa; she loved nothing more than gathering with them and creating lasting memories filled with laughter and love. Teresa was a light to all her knew her. Her journey here was one marked by love, compassion, and her unwavering faith in her Savior Jesus. Teresa is also survived by her loving mother, Phyllis Ann (Muir) Tyler; her siblings, Jeff Jones, Sr. (Lisa), Lisa Jones, and Mark Jones, Jr (Billie Sue); and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. The bonds she formed with her family will forever remain in their hearts. She was preceded in death by her father, Mark Durand Jones, Sr.; stepfather, Ed Tyler; grandparents, Lottie and Bill Muir and Doris and George Ivy Jones; and a niece, Heather Marie Jones. To honor Teresa's life, a visitation will be held at 3-C Church, 38238 Old Stage Road, Delmar, DE on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at the same location at 1:00 PM. Minister Jessie McCoy will officiate. She will be laid to rest at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury following the service.
