It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Teresa Aileen Hearne, a beloved mother and grandmother. Teresa was born on April 23, 1955, in Salisbury, Maryland, and passed away on March 28, 2024, at her home in Laurel. Teresa found joy in spending time with her family and hunting for treasures at thrift stores. She also worked in ticket sales at the Shorebirds Stadium in Salisbury and brightened people's days by delivering beautiful flowers for Jean and Ken's and Benedict's Florist. Teresa was a kind and loving mother to her daughter, Jessica Walls and her husband Chris; and her son, Spencer Hearne and his wife, LaToya. She was a grandmother to Alissa McKenzie (Austin), Brooke Walls, Robert Walls (Gannon), Lillian Walls, Journey Hearne, and Eva Hearne. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Margaret (Bailey) Obermire, and her brother, Wayne Obermire. A celebration of Teresa's life will be held privately for her family and friends on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 1pm to 5 pm at 8718 Mar-Lynn Drive, Delmar, Maryland. Teresa will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the love and joy she brought to those fortunate enough to have known her.
