GEORGETOWN- Tammy Sue Wilson, 56, of Georgetown, formerly of Delmar, passed away peacefully at her parent's home on Saturday, November 14, 2020, after a long courageous battle with several health issues. She was born November 20, 1963 in Salisbury, a daughter of Marlene (Wilkerson) Treon of Georgetown and the late Layton Stevens. Tammy worked many years as a CNA before health issues forced her to leave the workforce. She treasured her family and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She loved country music and enjoyed her many trips to Sam Grow concerts, an up and coming country artist. She is survived by daughters, Ashley Savage of Georgetown and Danielle Flynn and husband, Ryan of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Jayson Bell, Curtis Downes, Jr., Kaylei Downes, Blake Hudson, Connier Hudson, Brookelyn Buchanan, Kenzleigh Williams, Ke'Myra Williams and Bryson Washington; brothers, David Swift and Dwayne Johnson; a close friend who she called her "adopted niece", Julie Short; Ashley Randall, who was like an adopted daughter; uncles Robert Wilkerson and Granville Wilkerson.; a niece, Tiffany Swift; and her step-father, Jim Treon. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, David A. Wilson; and her son-in-law, Larry Savage. Services will be held at a later date.
