Born in Biddeford, ME to William S. Wood and Naomi (Martin) Wood on June 4, 1934, Sylvia enjoyed the coastal life with her sister Selma and brother Scott. As a teen she worked on the Old Orchard Beach pier and loved to dance to the Big Bands that played there. She graduated business school, married W. David DeRepentigny and with him raised four children in Annandale, VA until his tragic death in 1975. She went to work with his coworkers at Northrop company and retired from there 20 years later. Sylvia is survived by her four children: Mark DeRepentigny of Lady's Island, SC; Kim Taylor (Geoff) of Stafford, VA; Pete DeRepentigny (Renét) of Delmar, DE and Matt DeRepentigny (Debbie) of Allentown, PA.
