Sue Knutson, 82, beloved mother and mother-in-law, was called to her eternal resting place on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. She entered this world on July 20, 1944, in Zumbrota, MN, born to William Mitchell and Colleen Berg.

She is survived by her son Josh Knutson; daughter-in-law Stephanie Knutson(Tiu) of Delmar DE; daughter Heidi Knutson of O'Fallon MO; and brothers Dan and Tom Berg of Lake Havasu City, AZ. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Knutson, and her sister Kari Humke. 

Sue attended Luther College in Decorah, Iowa and received her Undergraduate Degree in Music/Elementary Teacher. She taught for a number of years in several school systems as her husband was in the Army, which required many moves. In 1990, she moved to Ozark, Alabama where my dad was stationed at Fort Rucker, and started her own Piano Studio Business. Her accomplishments as a teacher and piano teacher led an impact on many of her students and families. She moved again to Missouri where she taught for a number of years and made a big impact on many in the community. She will be remembered by spreading that legacy of music to many.

Sue became a born-again believer, receiving Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, and now has been welcomed into the presence of Jesus.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 2-4pm, followed by a memorial service at 4pm at Bay Shore Community Church, 36759 Millsboro Highway, Millsboro, Delaware.
