Sharon Lee White, 58, of Salisbury died Monday, Jan. 23, 2012, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury. She was a daughter of the late, Floyd and Veronica Miller. Sharon is survived by her husband of 41 years, Weldon Thomas "Tommy" White; two children, Scott Weldon White and Jennifer Lee White; and her dog, Peanut. Sharon was blessed with four grandchildren, Ashley, Gregory, Jenna and Daniel. Sharon is also survived by three uncles, Joseph Nemith, George Nemith and Steve Nemith. Although her priority was raising her children, she truly enjoyed her work at Canada Dry, as an office associate. Sharon graduated from Wicomico Senior High as a member of the Honor Society and was nominated for valedictorian and ranked 12th in the class of 1971. Sharon enjoyed reading and had developed a love for theater, she was a member of the International Thespian Society. Her pleasures in life were reading, camping, her grandchildren and being at the ocean. A viewing will be held Friday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Short Funeral Home in Delmar, with a graveside service following in Springhill Memory Gardens near Hebron. Family and friends are welcome.
