Sharon Lou White, 63, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, died Friday, October 25, 2013 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. She was born August 9, 1950 in Salisbury, a daughter of the late Guy William and Madelyn Fitzgerald Donaway. Sharon worked hard at her job as a housekeeper for many years and loved her customers like they were family. She attended Ayres United Methodist Church in Pittsville for many years and is survived by her loving church family. She was an avid bingo player and loved dancing, baking, shopping and most importantly, helping others. She is survived by 4 children, Angie Payne (Sterling) of Laurel, Jake Timmons (Melissa) of Parsonsburg, Vicki Harris (Robert) of Parsonsburg and Kenny Timmons (Sherry) of Gumboro; and their father and long-time friend of Sharon's, Allen Timmons; 15 grandchildren, Tori Molnar (T.C. Cooper), Maci Palmer, Ricky Mullins, Deena Timmons, Jerry Timmons (Marissa), Kayla Timmons, Luke Timmons, Karak Ireland, Erika Parks (Jesse Kissinger), Danny Parks (Julia Smith), Jessica Thomas (Jason Young), Erin Young (Curt), Kelly Harris, Austin Timmons and Hannah Timmons; 8 great grandchildren, MyKenna , Leilah, and Colten Bowden, Andrew Thomas, Jaxon Young, Noah Adams, Emma Cooper and Madeline Parks due to be born in December; a brother, Petey Donaway (Wanda) of Pittsville; a sister, Dee Long (Charles) of Princess Anne; longtime friend, Debbie Hall; best friend, Sarah Showl; coffee buddy, Pat Webb; Friday night steak date, Becky Johnson; a special niece, Debbie Parker; special extended family, the Calloway's; several nieces and nephews; and her furry companion, Bear. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her longtime companion, Bobby Calloway, who passed in 2010. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Ayres United Methodist Church, 7516 Gumboro Road in Pittsville. The Reverend Ray Rogers will officiate, assisted by speakers Carol Price and Trent Molnar. Family and friends are invited to a time of food and fellowship immediately following the service.
