Sharon Louise Herrmann, age 78, of Hebron, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 22, 2026 while residing at Delmar Assisted Living. Born on June 29, 1947, in Baltimore, Maryland, she was a daughter of the late Hubert James Williams and Margaret Schuman Williams.
Sharon always had a place in her heart for teaching and caring for little ones and she always enjoyed a cup of tea. She touched the lives of many with her kindness.
Sharon will be remembered as a devoted wife to her beloved husband, George Herrmann, with whom she shared many cherished moments throughout their life together. She is also survived by daughters, Cheryl Washburn and Kimberly Bowen and husband, Mike; grandchildren, Brianna and Brody Washburn and Garrett and Gage Bowen. Sharon's legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew her and the countless lives she impacted with her warmth and generosity. Her zest for life and unwavering support for her family and friends made her a cherished companion to all.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens, 10201 Bird River Rd, Baltimore, MD 21220, providing family and friends the opportunity to gather and celebrate Sharon's life.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations in Sharon's name to Lighthouse Christian Childcare, 9181 Old Railroad Rd, Hebron, MD, 21830. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home of Delmar.
