Sharon Lynette Ennis, 48, of Salisbury, passed away at her home on Friday, April 13, 2018. She was born March 28, 1970 in Salisbury, a daughter of Sharon Christine (Sprague) Hoffman of Eden and the late Gary Wayne Bailey. Lynette graduated from Wicomico Sr. High School with the class of 1987. After graduation she worked as a secretary for the White and Leonard Stationery Co. in Salisbury. She enjoyed being a member of the Bi-State Drum and Majorette Corps where she was a talented baton twirler and played the bells. Lynette also had a beautiful singing voice and she loved traveling with her dad to sing with him at local shows. She was an avid cat lover and considered her cats as her children. She was a member of Community of Joy Church in Salisbury. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 30 years, Norman Allen Ennis; daughters, Ashley Martin (Osbeli) and Sara Cox (Robert); grandchildren, Skylar, Dominic, Liam and Greyson; a sister, Michelle Bailey; maternal grandmother, Iona Sprague; in-laws, Joe and Rebecca Ennis; and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts and uncles and cousins. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Harvey Sprague; maternal great grandparents, Emma and Orville Johnson; and her step-father, Harry Hoffman. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Community of Joy Church, 302 South Blvd, Salisbury, MD 21801. Pastor Martin Hutchison will officiate.
