Sharon "Sheri" Lynne Cole, 71, of Landsdale, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, Pennsylvania. She was born January 28, 1949 in Florida, a daughter of the late Jay K. and Sally (Fulton) Cole. Sheri retired in 2008 from Merck & Co. Pharmaceuticals, where she worked many years in security. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed volunteering her time transporting for various area animal rescues. In her free time she also enjoyed making soaps and other crafts. She will be remembered for her love for family and her big heart for animals. She is survived by cousins, Nancy Catlin and husband Bill of Mardela Springs, MD, Ruth Bunting and husband Jack of Salisbury, MD and Judy Walker and husband Doug of Montoursville, PA. Private services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to an animal rescue of your choice. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
