Shannon Brett Scott, 52, of Delmar, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2020. He was born October 1, 1967 in Potsdam, NY, a son of the late Elizabeth Scott Spencer and William C. Spencer. He was a talented carpenter who could build almost anything and worked in construction for various builders. In his younger days he was an avid golfer. He is survived by a son, Devan Scott (wife Kelly, children Maelie & Deklan) from Delmar MD; daughters, Hannah Scott (fiance' Wade Eskridge, children Caleb, Lilah, Kaelyn, Brody & Nolan) from Delmar MD and Kara Scott from Chincoteague, VA; brothers, Shawn Scott of Florida and Shane Scott from Brownville, NY; sisters, LaVonne Lucidi, Priscilla Fitzpatrick & Sherri Martin from Watertown, NY and Betsy Levison from Camillus NY. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Pamela Napolitano; and a brother, Alton Scott. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at Renovate Church, 800 E East St, Delmar, MD 21875. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
