It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Scott Robert Brown, Jr., who left us on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at the age of 44. Scott was born on January 13, 1982, in Miami Dade County, Florida , he then moved to Salisbury, Maryland where he grew up before attending Wicomico High School.
He dedicated many years of his life as a truck driver for UPS, a role that suited his adventurous spirit and love for travel.Scott was known for his zest for life; he enjoyed hiking, spending sunny days at the beach, and was a devoted fan of football, especially cheering for the Dallas Cowboys and the Baltimore Orioles. His passion for fitness led him to spend time as a personal trainer, where he shared his love for health and well-being with others. Above all, Scott cherished the time spent with his children, Noah and Lucy, along with his nieces and nephews. He was known for his wonderful sense of humor and signature Dad jokes, which brought joy and laughter to family gatherings.
Scott is remembered by his beloved family, including his mother, Jane McDonald; father, Scott Brown, Sr.; and his cherished children, Noah and Lucy Brown. He is also survived by his loving girlfriend, Elisa Gonzalez, and her children Eliana, Cristiano, and Mila Banegas. Scott was a devoted brother to Brenda Moore and her husband, Travis; Candace McDonald and her fiancé, Scott Dunn; Dylan Gray; Crystal Brown; Ashleigh MacNiven; and Chris Brown. He leaves behind a close-knit circle of nieces and nephews: Haley Mancato, Travis Moore, Alyssa Moore, Harley Traylor, Onyx Traylor, and Beowolf Traylor, and Kolten James.
Scott was dearly loved by many aunts and uncles, including Joanne and Travis Fritz, Dale and Melanie Mason, Tracy Mason, Mark Mason, Donald Brown, and Mike Brown, along with cousins Brian Mason, Josh Mason, Justin Gimble, Mark Mason, Monica Mason, Chris Pridgen, and Travis Fritz. He will also be remembered by the mother of his children.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Brenda Ellen Waller Mason.
A celebration of Scott's life will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026 from 2:00 to 5:00 at Wildflower Estate Venue, 24764 Ocean Gateway, Mardela Springs, MD 21837. Wearing Scott's favorite color- green- to the celebration of life would be a wonderful way to honor his memory.
