Sarah Inez Foxwell, 96, of Harrington, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. Born on October 17, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Julia Hearn Moore. She is survived by three brothers, Carroll E. Moore of Georgetown, James A. Moore of Mulberry, FL, and Randall W. Moore of Oak Harbor, Washington; two sisters, Mary Ellen Beauchamp of Greenwood and Elaine Anderson of Georgetown; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Preston Foxwell, who passed on December 13, 1991; a son, Homer Preston Foxwell, Jr.; two brothers, Kenneth H. Moore and Andrew Moore, Jr.; and three sisters, Annabelle Holston, Betty Krolocki, and Joyce Ann Pettit. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 8, 2016 at Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street in Delmar. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. Pastor Shannon Harris will officiate. Interment will follow the service in Hastings Family Cemetery in Delmar.
