Sandra Marie (Dukes) Helms, 59, of Delmar, passed away on July 22, 2020 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. She was born November 12, 1960 in Wilmington, a daughter of Katherine Scott Dukes of Delmar and the late Gene T. Dukes. Sandy graduated from Delmar High School. She loved to shop, talk on the telephone to family and friends, color and arts and crafts. Sandy "the bread lady" enjoyed cooking and making everyone feel at home even in her toughest times. She is survived by her sons, Scott James Dukes of Delmar, Cody Alan Dukes Graham and his wife Amber of Seaford and Gene William Dukes of Delmar; a sister, Lynn Parsons and her husband Mike of Laurel; a twin brother, George Dukes of Seaford; and several nieces, nephews and a host of close friends.
