Sandra A. Balcer / Sadler (Balcerowicz), 78, of Joppa, (recently of Salisbury) Maryland, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 29, 2022, at the home she shared with her daughter. She was born June 30, 1943, in Baltimore. A daughter of the late Raymond and Ida (Pawloski) Sadler. Sandra earned her MBA in education from the University of Maryland. She was a professor of accounting at Towson State University for several years before teaching at Howard County Community College until her retirement. She enjoyed the outdoors and nature. Working with plants, fishing, and crabbing were some of her favorite ways to relax. She is survived by her children, Tony Balcerowicz and his wife, Tetyana of West Virginia; and Lori Wagner of Salisbury; grandchildren: R. Dominic Guarnaccia of Baltimore, Thomas Wagner of Pennsylvania, Audrey Ferrell of Florida, and M. Jacob Wagner of Salisbury; Veronica Balcerowicz of West Virginia; Samuel Balcerowicz of New Jersey; great grandchildren, Ava, Aaron, Myia and Ian; a sister, Janet Schap and her husband Robert of Perry Hall; also numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her beloved four-legged companion, her cat, "Taz." She was also preceded in death by a sister, Linda Sadler. A memorial in celebration of her life will be held at Salisbury Baptist Temple on Saturday, March 26th at 1:30 PM.
