Ruth Phoebus Robinson, 91, of Delmar, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. She was born on August 21, 1923 in Sharptown, Maryland, a daughter of the late Granville and Ruth Phoebus. Ruth was a member of Delmarva Evangelistic Church in Salisbury and was a member of the Women's Missionary Council. She is survived by a son, Milton James and his wife Lu-Ann; two grandchildren, Ruth Giacalone and Todd James; a great grandson, Greyson James; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Heather Selph; a brother, William Phoebus; and a sister, Marie White. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at the Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street in Delmar. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Laurel.
