Ruth Marie Larmore, 80, of Salisbury, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Salisbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born January 18, 1942, in Cambridge, a daughter of the late Leroy Alonzo Green and Iva Marie (Cheezum) Green. Ruth was raised with a strong work ethic and worked many years at the Shore Paper Box Co. in Mardela Springs and also tended chickens. She was a faithful member of Liberty Church of Christ in Salisbury. Ruth had a passion for photography, a huge heart for cats and loved her Dr. Pepper. She will be most remembered for her unconditional love for her family and church family. She is survived by her children, Leroy Larmore (Stephanie) and Doug Larmore (Peggy); grandchildren, Anna Marie Joy Larmore, Tasha Haddaway (Ryan), and Donald Nelson Coleman, Jr.; great grandchildren, Kain Lynch, Haven Sage Haddaway and Manny Coleman; and special friends and caregivers, Jackie Cronin and Brenda Chatham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James William Larmore (2011); and sons, Matthew James Larmore (2012) and Andrew C. Larmore (2014). A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 at Liberty Church of Christ on Old Ocean City Road in Salisbury, followed by a celebration of her life which begins at 12:00 noon.
