Ronnie L. Rust Jr. of Eden, MD, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023, at the age of 51. He was born on August 6, 1972, in St. Augustine, Florida, to his beloved mother, Deborah K. Clark, and the late Ronnie L. Rust, Sr. Early in life his family moved to Laurel, where he attended Laurel High School. He worked many years as a skilled mason and construction worker. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, vibrant personality and kind-hearted nature. He was an enthusiastic sports lover, who could often be found cheering for his favorite Pittsburgh Steelers, enjoying the outdoors while fishing or working the land on the farm. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Kerri Hoyer; a brother, Shawn Rust and his wife Amy; and a nephew, Chandler Rust. He is also survived by aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Barrall, who held a special place in his heart. We can find comfort in knowing that his grandfather welcomed him with open arms into the heavens above. As per Ronnie's wishes, no formal services will be held. Ronnie will be forever remembered as a loving son, brother, father, nephew, and friend. May his spirit find eternal peace, and may his legacy continue to touch lives for generations to come.
