Ronald Lee Ruark, 73, of Delmar, passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at his home. He was born on November 6, 1944 in Easton, Maryland, and was lovingly raised by his mother, Esther May Ruark Jones and his step-father, Elwood James Jones. Ron worked at A & A Environmental in Delmar as a mechanic and truck driver. He will be remembered by his family and friends as a quiet, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved a good joke, old country music and his dog companion "Wolfie." He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Teresa Ann and George Thomas Atkins, Sr. of Delmar; granddaughter and husband, Julia Ann and Stephen Dale Johnson of Delmar; grandsons, George Thomas Atkins, Jr. of Laurel and Adam Christopher Atkins of Delmar, and granddaughter, Alyssa Nicole Atkins and fiancé, Earle Little of Laurel; 12 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law Kenneth M. and Ruth Jones of Berlin; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog "Wolfie." In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Roselee Pusey Ruark; and a brother, Charles Lee Jones. A memorial service for Ronald and Roselee Ruark will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Laurel, De at 10am. The service will be officiated by Rev.
