Ronald W. Rash, 62, of Delmar, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012 at his home. He was born March 1, 1950 in Delmar, a son of the late Henry Webster Rash and Hazel Elliott Rash. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Ronnie worked for Perdue Farms for 20 years in the truck garage before going to work as manager for Wareheim which later became Fleetpride. He enjoyed going to auctions and horse races, and was a member of the United States Trotting Association. He will be remembered as a devoted father and brother. He is survived by a son, Michael W. Rash and his girlfriend, Cathy of Delmar; two step-grandchildren, Ashley and Jacob of Delmar; a brother, John T. Rash and his girlfriend Sharon of Delmar; a nephew, John T. Rash, Jr. of Willards; a significant other, Irene Diane Voss of Delmar; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Sunday, August 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Stephens Cemetery in Delmar.
