PRINCESS ANNE- Robert Brent Horner, 63, of Princess Anne, died Monday, September 27, 2010 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury. He was born in Salisbury, a son of Margaret McIntyre Horner of Princess Anne and the late Gorman Horner. Brent, as he was known to family and friends, was a 1965 graduate of Deale Island High School. After high school he went to work at Dresser Industries in Salisbury from where he retired after working in the silkscreen room for 32 years. His true passion was music; he was an accomplished guitar player and lead singer for the group "American Expression" for over 30 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and riding motorcycles. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 13 years, Jayne C. Horner; a daughter, Erin Quinn and her husband, Paul of Myrtle Beach, SC; a granddaughter, Hailey; two brothers, Gorman Bruce Horner and his wife, Elizabeth of Salisbury and William Frank Horner and his wife, Cindi of Delmar; nephews, Bryan and his wife, Leslie, Christopher, Aaron and Jacob; a niece, Kelly Jean; and a great niece, Madison. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins across Delmarva. A celebration of Brent's life will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street, Delmar, DE. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Coastal Hospice, P.O.
