Robert Pierce Cline, Jr., 58, passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday, July 18, 2021. Many knew him as Bob Cline but to family, he was Robbie! He was born on February 8, 1963 in Radford, Virginia and son of the late Robert Pierce Cline, Sr. and Gladys Sifford Cline. Robert graduated from Sussex Central High School with the class of 1981. In his early days, he worked security at Dupont plant in Seaford. For many years he worked as Store Manager at Dominos Pizza. Robert also worked many years at Johnny Janosik Furniture in Laurel. He was a lifelong, faithful Washington Redskins and Baltimore Orioles fan. Robert was a huge movie fan and loved Star Trek along with everything Sci-Fi. "Robbie" loved his family more than anything. He is survived by a sister, Cindy Lee and husband David of Tennessee; nephews, Andy Lee and wife Krista, Vernon Boog and wife Chelsea, Jonathan Lee and Michael Lee; and great nieces and nephews, Sean, Makenzie and Marshall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Debra Marie Cline; and a great nephew, Vincent Boog. Services will be private and interment will be held in a family plot in Line Community Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
