Robert Eddie Brewer, Sr., 77, of Delmar passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at his home in Delmar. He was born on October 23, 1944 in Galax, Virginia, a son of the late Lelia Newman and Aaron Brewer. He worked many years as an independent distributor for a bread company and on his route he was known as "Fast Eddie." He is best described as a great, honest man who was also a wonderful storyteller. He is survived by his children, Robin Leto (Tony), Eddie Brewer, Jr., Alfred Brewer, Sr. (Kerry), Chris Evans, and Jennifer Todd; grandchildren, Teresa Horner, Bobbi Jo Horner, Ashley Horner, Kim Horner, Alfred Brewer, Jr., Nicholas Brewer, Matthew Brewer, Seth Brewer, Whitney Beyers, Bruce Sedgwick, Dylan Sedgwick, Robbie Todd, Anthony Leto, Nick Leto, and Drew Leto; many loved great grandchildren; a sister, Rosemary Dalton; and brothers, Junior Leonard, Bruce Testerman, and Jimmy Brewer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Evans; a grandson, Steven Horner, Jr.; sisters, Eileen Trimble and Susie Wood; and brothers, Billy, Richard, and Doug Brewer. A celebration of life for Mr. Brewer will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Robin's home, 22732 Royal Oak Road, Quantico, Maryland.
