Robert Lee Baumann, Jr, lovingly known as Bobby, age 74, of Delmar, MD, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly at his home on Monday, December 4, 2023. He was born on September 9, 1949, in Salisbury, a son of the late Robert Lee Baumann, Sr. and Irene Alice (Townsend) Baumann. Bobby was a simple man who found joy in the simplest of things. He lived a fulfilling life, dedicated to his family and friends and his work as a welder. After many years of service he retired as a welder for Pipefitter's Local 782 and 486. He was member of the Salisbury Moose Lodge 654. Bobby and his family were grateful for the assistance given to him since the mid 80's from Go-Getters in Wicomico County. In his younger days he had a reputation for being a gifted horse trainer. Bobby loved the outdoors, especially deer hunting and fishing. He will be remembered for having a huge place in his heart for animals, especially his cat "Pumpkin," and his granddaughter, "Reegi," who was the apple of his eye. He is survived by daughters, Stacy Rae Finnin and husband, Colin and Rachael Baumann; granddaughter, Reegan "Reegi" Baumann; brother, Jack Baumann and wife Elaine; and sister, Hilda Gowell.
