Richard F. Williams, Jr., 52, of Pittsville passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 7,1968 at Dover Air Force Base, a son of JoAnn Wilson Williams and the late Richard F. Williams, Sr. Rich graduated from Wicomico High school with the class of '86. He was a long-time employee and head foreman for Evans Builders, Inc. He will be remembered for his devotion to his family and loved ones. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Sarah Williams and her sisters, Ashley Figgs and Kim Meilhammer; his significant other for 16 years, Penny Dennis and her children, Travis Burton and Lynn Norwood; his granddaughter, Kirra Burton; and his brother, Mike Williams (Ginger). He is also survived by his faithful four-legged companion, "Bubba." A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Short Funeral Home in Delmar. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. Reverend Howard Travers will officiate. Interment will be private.
