Richard Lee Hurchalla II, 40, beloved son, husband, brother, and cousin, was called to his eternal resting place on Sunday, February 23, 2025. He entered this world on March 8, 1984 in Salisbury, MD. He is survived by his wife, Crystal Hurchalla; his mother, Patty Hurchalla; father, Richard Hurchalla Sr (Essie); sister and brother-in-law, Paige & Joseph Smith; nephew and niece Adam and Shae Smith; stepbrother, Alton (AJ) Scott; cousins, Laurie Brown and husband Derek, Megan Todd and Danielle Hurchalla; aunt, Brenda Parks; many other aunts, uncles and cousins; step children, Ashley Lovely, Dustin Lovely, Bradley Collins, Tyler Collins, Joey Collins, Michael Collins, and Brandi Collins; grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild. Ricky loved spending time with his wife and family. He enjoyed going fishing and crabbing every chance he could get. He had a knack for gardening and created beautiful flowers beds at his home. He was a talented builder working with Brian Lowes Carpet and Flooring for more than 20 years. He loved helping people and once helped his Uncle Johnny rebuild his childhood church in Fruitland after the building caught fire. He had a big and kind heart and would show his love for others by giving them a big hug. His kind loving heart will be missed by all.
