Richard Jeremiah "RJ" Cox, infant son of Richard and Jennifer Cox of Denton, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Easton Memorial Hospital. In addition to his parents, he is survived by four siblings, Emily Cox (16), Ashley Cox (15), William Veliz (8), and Brooklynn Cox (15 mos.); paternal grandparents, Peggy and Richard Keith Cox; maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Penny Coy; an aunt, Jessica Warner (Adam); uncles, Michael Cox (Jennifer), Kenneth H. Coy, Jr., and Joshua C. Coy; a cousin, who was like a sister to Jen, Bobbie Jo Weaver (Cory); a pastor and his wife who are like parents to Jen, Reverend Dr. Myke and Marsha Crowder; and several cousins. He also has three dear siblings in heaven. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Bay Shore Community Church, 36759 Millsboro Highway, Millsboro, DE 19966. Pastor Jeff Hudson will officiate. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
