Richard C. Brandenburg, Sr. of Hebron, MD passed away peacefully at home on March 25, 2023 lovingly surrounded by his family. He was 87 years old. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and 12 siblings. He is survived by Sharon, his wife of 59 years, and his 5 children Terri Marr (husband Jerry), Laurie Fooks, Richard, Jr. (wife Terry), Traci Mapp (husband Barry), Rob Brandenburg, 8 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren, as well as mother-in-law, June Dolch. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses he served as an elder for over 40 years. He loved sharing Bible truths with his neighbors. One thing that brought him great joy was helping to acquire property for a future Kingdom Hall as well as sharing in the construction and remodeling of several of them when his health permitted. One of his personal joys was growing a garden that provided food not just for his family but the whole congregation.
