SALISBURY – Rhoda "Ellen" Ellingsworth, 61, of Salisbury, passed away at the home of her parents, Benjamin and Beulah (King) Lewis, on Monday, March 16, 2009. She was predeceased by her husband, Kennard Ellingsworth, in 2005. Ellen was born in Berlin, Maryland. She worked for Toroid's in Salisbury for 19 years. In addition to her parents, she is survived by three daughters, Beth Steininger, Amy Ellingsworth and Joy Ellingsworth, all of Salisbury; one son, George Steininger of Salisbury; two brothers, Dennis Marine of Vienna, Maryland, and Michael Lewis of Virginia; two sisters, Sue Kukta of Vienna, Maryland, and Lydia Moore of Salisbury; and six grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 19, at 11:00 a.m. at the Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street, Delmar, Delaware, where family and friends may call one hour prior to the service. Brother Michael Phillips will officiate. Interment will follow the services at Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron. Contributions on behalf of Ellen may be sent to Coastal Hospice, P.O.
