SALISBURY- Pauline Ann McMichael, 89, of Salisbury, and a resident of Pine Bluff Village, died Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. She was born December 22, 1921 in Salisbury, a daughter of the late Amos and Violet (Redden) Cox. Pauline raised three sons and proudly took care of her family and home. She treasured times spent with family and her friends. She is survived by three sons, Timothy McMichael and his wife, Janet of Federalsburg, Phillip McMichael of Delmar and Donald McMichael and his long time companion, Charlotte of Naples, Florida; two brothers, David Cox of Delmar and Robert Cox of Baltimore; six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, George McMichael, Jr., a granddaughter, Marcie McMichael, three sisters, Ellen Darby, Hazel Ray and Alice Humphreys and three brothers, Richard Cox, Franklin Gordon Cox and Kenneth Cox. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Siloam Cemetery in Siloam. The Reverend Howard Travers will officiate.
