Paul M. Bramble, Jr., 71, of Delmar, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury. He was born December 30, 1951 in Salisbury, Maryland, a son of the late Paul M. Bramble, Sr. and Ada Hitchens Bailey. Paul graduated from Delmar High School with the class of '69 before earning his degree as an electronics specialist from Wor-Wic Community College. He retired as a steel worker at Crown Cork and Seal in Fruitland after 30 years of service. On August 1, 1970, he married his high school sweetheart, Claudia Jane Hughes. Together they enjoyed almost 50 years of marriage until she passed in 2020. Paul and Claudia loved the outdoors and made many fond memories traveling in their camper and surf fishing up and down the East Coast. Working in his garden and yard were favorite hobbies when not traveling. He was a past member of the Delmarva Van Club and the Salisbury Moose Lodge. He is survived by his son, Paul M. Bramble, III and wife Shari of Oklahoma; sisters, Delores James and Paulette Bramble; and a niece, Crystal Odham and her children, Stacey McFarland and Justin Odham. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Claudia Jane Bramble; and a sister, Kitty Koster. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 at Short Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service which begins at 11:00.
