Patricia A. Jones, 75, of Delmar, died Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 27, 1942 in Salisbury, a daughter of the late Oliver L. Biddle and Dorothy Lokey Dukes. Patricia worked various jobs throughout her lifetime. Some of her jobs included working as a cashier, a seamstress at a shirt factory, a chicken vaccinator and she also worked for BJs Cleaning; however, no job was as important to her as that of being a mother and homemaker. She enjoyed scratch-off lottery tickets and playing bingo. She loved Christmas and playing in the snow with her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She is survived by her beloved husband, Ernest Maurice Jones, Sr.; sons, Tommy Joe Hudson (Brenda) of Pennsylvania and Ernie Jones, Jr. of Delmar; step-daughters, Terri Edwards (Robert) of Eden, Patricia Gross (Robert Loader) of Bivalve; grandchildren, Barbara Jones, Steven Jones and several others; several great grandchildren; and brothers and sisters, Jean Mitzmoto (Steve), Thomas L. Biddle (Faye), Brenda Molnar (Butch), Ruby Riley (Herman), Bonnie Gordy (Steve), Vincent L. Biddle (Margaret), Jimmy Alexander and Donny Alexander. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Lodge, 107 Alexander Avenue in Salisbury, Maryland.
