SALISBURY-Patricia Ann Gatton, 73, of Salisbury, died Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury. She was born April 16, 1939 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Frank and Katherine (Lochran) Donnick. Pat proudly served her country in the US Navy before becoming a full time wife and mother. She is remembered as a devoted Catholic. She loved to travel with her husband of 53 years and was able to see every state but Alaska. Favorite hobbies were collecting teddy bears and playing bingo whenever she could. She is survived by her husband, Donald T. Gatton; a son, Donald F. Gatton and his wife, Tammy of Salisbury; a granddaughter, Amanda Mitchell and her husband, Zachary of Delmar; twin great grandsons, Levi and Liam; a sister, Mary Ellen Sterling of Virginia; and 2 brothers, Arthur Donnick of Pittsburgh, PA and John Donnick and his wife, Bobbie of Marionville, PA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at later date in Marionville, PA. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
