BERLIN- Norma Bozman Cugler, 83, of Delmar, died Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Berlin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Berlin after a short stay. She was born on September 28, 1933 in Dames Quarter, Maryland, a daughter of the late John and Ada (White) Bozman. Norma graduated from Deal Island High school with the class of 1951. In 1968 she moved to Temple Hill, Maryland and enjoyed a 27 year career with the U.S. Treasury Department in Washington, D.C. Following her retirement in 1995 she returned to the Eastern Shore where she settled down in Delmar. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Suitland, the Delmar VFW Post 8276 Ladies Auxiliary and a 62 year member of the Adah Chapter #5, Order of the Eastern Star. She loved working with her plants, was an avid reader and never found a book or crossword puzzle she didn't like. She is survived by a son, Keith Cugler and his wife, Denise of Dagsboro; a daughter, Michelle Ellis and her husband, Bryan of Georgia; grandchildren, Jamie Cugler Emely, Eric Whaley, Melissa Wright, Faith Ellis and Jacob Ellis; great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Madelyn, Bailey and Emma Grace; daughter-in-law, Annie Cugler of Delmar; and a sister, Jean Bozman of Princess Anne. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Cliff Cugler, who passed in 2005; a sister, Evelyn Long; and brothers, Howard, Glendon and Elbert.
