Nora Ruby Schaub, 46, of Delmar, died Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. She was born March 8, 1970 in Baltimore, the daughter of the late Eugene Laverne Wilson and Lenore Edna Wilson. Nora graduated from Delaware Technical Community College, Owens Campus in Georgetown, with a degree in computer programming and a minor in accounting. She worked in the automotive industry for over 20 years, 9 of which she worked as the office manager at Hertrich Collision Center in Seaford. She was very devoted to family, and caring for her late mother was a big part of her life. She took a lot of pride in her family and loved being a grandmother. She will be remembered for her positive outlook and someone who could always be counted on when a friend or family member was in need. She would give the shirt from her back if it was needed. She enjoyed NASCAR and was a huge Terry Labonte fan until his retirement. She is survived by her husband of almost 29 years, Robert "Bob" Douglas Schaub, to whom she married April 14, 1987; a son, Alex Schaub and wife, Chasiti of Delmar; a granddaughter, Lacey Schaub; brothers, Gene Wilson and his wife, Lisa of Denver, Pennsylvania and Kenneth Wilson and his companion, Diana of Florida; a half-brother, Dan Wilson and his family; a nephew, Chris Wilson; and cousins, Dolores Decker and her husband, Charles, Steve Decker and Betty Beck and her husband, James. She had other nieces and nephews through marriage and other extended family. A celebration of Nora's life will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. at Chickberry Farms, 32099 Jestice Farm Road, in Laurel.
