Niyam A. "Butch" Mano,Jr, 61, of Laurel passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford. Born on October 17, 1946 in Dover, he was the son of Niyam A. Mano, Sr. of Dover and the late Catherine Tigner Mano. He is survived by his wife, Emily Mano; four sisters, Paris Mano of Stuart, Florida, Cathy King and her husband Bruce of Lewes, Melody Knotts and her husband Dick of Ocean View, and Alisa Rhodes and her husband John of Maryland; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. at the Short Funeral Home, 13 East Grove Street in Delmar. Family and friends may call from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. The interment with military honors will follow at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro.
